Peoples names can also sound like common nouns and verbs and thinking of a link which ties in with a famous person makes it easier to stay in the memory bank.
For example...
The capital of Minnesota is St Paul
Wearing a mini's so tarty but it's the way forward if you want to pull.
Also, if you see a name that you have to link, associating with a famous Philip or David for example makes it easier to remember.
