Tips & tricks

7. Forenames

Peoples names can also sound like common nouns and verbs and thinking of a link which ties in with a famous person makes it easier to stay in the memory bank.

For example...
The capital of Minnesota is St Paul
Wearing a mini's so tarty but it's the way forward if you want to pull.

Also, if you see a name that you have to link, associating with a famous Philip or David for example makes it easier to remember.

Philips Stadium is where PSV Eindhoven play football
The Queen was out for a day on her own so Prince Philip stayed home panicking not knowing what to do but she left a note for him and at the end it said P.S Behind oven is an endless supply of Kebabs! You absolute beauty Betty baby!!!

The King of Spades in a pack of playing cards represents King David
He has to be called King of Spades does our Mr David Beckham as he is forever digging his way out of trouble.

The Haywain was painted by Constable
'Hey Wayne' said Constable Pigplod, 'you're nicked for looking too much like Shrek!'

The ideal link is clever & funny. If it's neither of these then make it so ridiculous to make it unforgettable (See 'Rijks in Amsterdam' in 'Museums & Galleries'). I'm sure you all have your own methods of linking words and this is the idea of the website, it's a meeting-place for everyone to share and swap their ideas and tricks of the trade! I say again, these are tried and tested methods, I'm just bringing them together under one roof to educate and have some fun while doing it....is it in?
